Multiple Sites with Different Extensions...good idea or bad?

Hello,

I just registered a new domain (.com) and was wondering if I were to register the same name with other extensions, and have the exact same information on all webistes (literally exact copies, web template, etc), will this be frowned upon by Google or will it better my chances of making more adsense revenue?

      It's no big deal. Why do you think domain sellers give you
      the option of running the board? In fact, it's not a bad
      practice if you are branding. Does not matter if you
      make it the same site. Google is smart enough to choose
      which one it wants show more love to. Showing more
      love to one is not a penaly. It just makes
      promotion of the site(s) more involved.

      How many sites do you think use AP news articles?!?!?!

    it's not worth it. Just buy the .com, net or org. Only buy all three if your a big brand, or want to control the market from somone else buying up the domains

    I think its total useless and it doesn't help you at all for optimizing your main site. If it doesn't hurt your ranking, it will not help too.
