Have I been sandboxed?

My website was ranked on page 1, 2, or 3 for every product on my site since January. Yesterday my site literally sunk like a rock and I can't find it on the top ten pages!

Was there another Panda update and I was wiped out?

I can see my site is still indexed. I'm just not in the top 1k

Is it possible this is a "google dance" and things will return to normal at some point?

I didn't know if I was allowed to post the link so I didn't but if I'm allowed please reply that I am and I will.

Thanks!

It seems that its a temporary problem as many other sites reported on WF that they faced such problem. It seems that this problem should fixed in next days because it seems like a common problem.

Thank you so much for the quick reply. Do you think I should just leave things as they are and wait or should I try to build some links/other SEO activity to see if it helps?

Interestingly, almost all my competition sites were not affected. Is that a bad thing you think?

I just say my opinion and i think its better that you stop working on it for 2-3 days or if you want to make backlinks, just make a few of them from powerful websites you know. After some days later, the problem will be known more and if it continues, we should think about another solution.

Many hostgator users faced it because all webhosts faced this problem lol

Yes there was a huge slapfest/deindex marathon the other day.

I recommend you hang tight and just see how it plays out for now

But i only saw that Hostgator users reported it. However it seems rare, but i think this problem happened only for Hostgator users.

This site is hosted offshore by goip.com. My hostgator sites are fine

Are you using baby plan of hostgator or VPS or you have dedicated server with them?

For my sites that are still ranking on hostgator I'm on the shared baby plan. For the offshore goip I'm on a shared server as well.

So as it estimated the problem doesn't relate to the hosting provider and it should be something else. Maybe the problem solves in next days. Nothing is clear now about this issue that many webmasters have. In next days, the problem will be known more.

I'm still too new to seo to know how things like this end. Is it possible things will go back to how they were (meaning has that ever happened before?) or should I probably consider the sites that dropped as lost causes and start over?

      Did they dance out of the top 500 - 1,000? Mine went from anywhere between 1 - 15 to 500 - 1,000.

It appears that there has been another Google update.

Here are a couple of the other posts about this:

I suggest you check your site out yourself and see if Google has anything about it:

Check your own site out here if you have been de-indexed and find out what is going on, do the steps to improve it and apply for Google to reconsider your site.

    https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/home?hl=en

And go here to get what Google is looking for so that if your site hasn't been de-indexed yet, you can do things to keep it the way Google wants it:

Finally, if SEO is your only source of traffic, start now to create other sources of traffic outside of SEO.

You should NOT have all your traffic dependent on one source.

I too have had several of my sites disappear from the SERPs within the last week. All were built with the same backlinking method (MAN and UAW), which I suspect is the problem. Looks to me like Google is now paying attention to those blog networks.

I just checked my website in this tool:

Google Banned Site Checker-SEO Tools-Search Engine Optimization Tool-SEG

And it said that Google is blocking my IP address!

I tried the sandbox checker tool and it says that I'm not in the sandbox.

I don't understand why Google is blocking my IP!

Don't sweat having your ip blocked. Google does that when you do too many checks in a short period of time. You will be unblocked in a matter of hours.
