Hi,

would you plz tell us major metrics to see the competition for any given keyword, My keyword is "shoulder press machine", is this competitive ? , If there is youtube video in first place with PR 4, can we beat this, Keep in mind i have EMD for the given keyword.

Yes you can beat it. It is moderately competitive. EMD probably doesn't matter that much.

  Grab traffic from the youtube video by posting a video response or a comment. If you're looking towards SEO, check the competition with SEOTC (allintitle:keyword). If it's below 3000, it's possible to be ranked easily. If the other sites in the top 10 domains have lower than PR4, it should be possible.

Use google adwords. Then enter your keyword. you will get some suggestions.

  Why google adwords, It is useful when you are going to run PPC, It is not to check organic listing competition.

I have another keyword, How wondering it is. Can anyone explain how wondering the result is. check the website at position #2, it has 0 PR and many other factors, it beat the amazon, apple.

Can you explain why and how competitive this keyword is ?
