Hi fellow warriors,

In the recent days I have seen a lot of people complaining regarding banned Adsense accounts.

Currently, Adsense is pretty much my only source of income (i do very well) and i would like to keep that. Whatever i am doing is 100% legal, i never click on my own ads or entice others to do so.

My question to you is, what steps should i take to ensure my Adsense account remain alive. (it's a new account, 4-5 months). I have heard that one shouldn't link an Adsense account to too many websites (how much is too much)? What else can i do?

Also, any other Adsense alternatives? I'v heard about Infolinks, BidVertiser, Clicksor etc, but i heard they are just in the same league, and also rumors told Clicksor used a malware

Thanks
#adsense

is say hundreds of mini sites are not what Google want. I have no doubt they keep a close eye on accounts earning high amounts and accounts with hundreds of sites. this would probably eventually trigger a manual review and then potential ban.

Just build up your websites. Google doesnt want to be link to a bunch of 5 page websites. You need more content. Those 5 page content websites doesnt have much value for the visitor.

If you have outbound links to say wiki, then youtube videos. make sure that you have your privacy policy and contact us.

You can also have some code in your website to protect yourself from getting clickedbombed. Just do a google search of "Code for being adsense clicked bomb" You should come up with something.

Spencer at niche pursuits just got his account banned and was making 13,000 a month. He said himself that he had 200 websites all of them small sites that were earning him money. That is just too many websites to maintain, He could have got click bombed, had too many adsense accounts linked to himself through his LLC, or maybe google didnt like him sharing his information about how much he made. He could be any of those reasons.

But if you stick with just maybe 20 sites all built out and provides user value and if you protect yourself from getting click bombed you should be ok.

In the event you do get banned you have several options.

      1. Create a LLC and a new bank account and sign up for a new adsense account. This may only be a temporary thing because ulitmately it was your sites that caused the ban.

      2. Sign up for one of the other spin offs of adsense. You may not earn as much but is better than nothing.

      3. Put affiliate offers related to your niche in your website. Often you will find that you earn more with these than you would have with adsense.

You should also always build a list. If you have traffic to your website then create a opt in form. This will create a steady flow of returning visitors for you.

For example say after 6 months you have 1000 email opt ins. You then create a new article on your site and let your email list know. with a 60 percent open rate and 20 percent click through rate, you will generate 120 unique visitors to your new article. Which will undoubtedly create some revenue for you. The possibilities are endless with the email list. But you have to treat them right.

I always recommend to people to make your sites at least 20 pages and thats a bare minimum

if youhad hundreds of sites then you will def not be doing yourself any favours with google so your best to keep to up to about 10 - 15 sites

this is purely for a practical reason otherwise your not gona be able to juggle your time enough

yes you could outsource but its still going to cause a pain in the butt

i recently sold some adsense sites for just over $8k. All im doing now is building a few sites right out

im gona stick to around 3 good sites but only working on 1 at a time

with 3 good adsense sites you can make more than enough income

but dont forget you dont want to put all your income in adsense, diverse more into other areas and also creating your own products

I would say this -- do not put adsense on pages that have no content. Use google search instead. Do not put any frame color picture or nothing around your ad. Also if you are going to put contact me ... then you should answer your emails when it comes in and ask you for help. I know for a certain fact that Google ghost employees do this prior to their decision to cut you off.

Just make sure you follow their rules and have all their required pages, especially their privacy policy page, have good content and you should be fine. I agree with Paul, you do not want to put all of your income into one basket, it is best to diversify so your income will be more secure.

Ensure the privacy policy you use refers to the Google DoubleDart Cookie. If it doesn't, you are vulnerable.

To be honest, I would suggest taking some income and making some sort of offline investment or invest into building a following (an email list).

It seems it does not matter what type of sites you have adsense is risky to have as your main and only income because Google can cut it at any moment. I was just reading around the forum and came across a thread where a guy sold all his sites for a big pay of 75k now he is looking to invest somewhere else.

It took me a while to realize that adsense is not a real business where you have control. You can choose to promote amazon and any other type of affiliate program but remember "Google" owns the serps too and now they are making it even more difficult to rank.

So simply put, start to diversify your source of income.

Most privacy policy generators do have the Double Dart cookie mentioned. I always look to see if it is there.

I came to know it could be a cause of google banning accounts when I was browsing through adsense help forums, where some people made pointed references to the absence of this as a cause of bans.

If you want you can copy mine from inguinaherniasurgery.envs.org - just click on privacy and copy everything. Also note the footer links and info. I put my address on the footer to show to G that I am a real person who is not afraid to give out contact info.

I use a single column template for this page. However, I also recommend you have a photo of yourself with a brief "About Me" information.

I agree with diversification. I know of a couple of long time site builders who are slowly backing away from Adsense...
