Keyword Competition Tools?

Hey Warriors,

Many warriors have different requirements when doing keyword research. Most everyone will do some sort of "google search research" for example a "quoted" search to find how many sites google returns. Or an "all in title" search to see how many pages Google returns.

I'm wondering if there are any tools, preferably free web-tools that will show these search competition numbers for a list of keywords? Searching Google one at a time for a "keyword" can take all day and sometimes I still don't find a keyword that has desirable competition.

So basically; i want to paste a list a 50 keywords and see how many sites google search returns for these keywords in a "quoted" search

- Thanks

Such a keyword tool is released and is free, url is keywordsanalysis.eu - you can compare about 1000 english top keywords with sorting by any parameter. The idea is to compare one keyword with other, data come from majesticseo.

Traffic Travis and Market samurai will both give you competition analysis for your keywords. There are free versions of both.

These tools seem to analyze the competition for a single keyword. I'm looking to do it for an entire list - though I suppose market samurai may do this to some degree I was hoping for a web tool.

            Thanks none the less.

I'd like a web tool also to do this. Hate installing apps since you don't know what else they may be doing and it's not portable.

Traffic Travis free lets you do 5 at a time. The paid version is unlimited. (But make sure you've got some proxies.)

I like to use Long Tail Pro to do competition search. I only really pay attention to the top few spots in google. I don't see phrase matching as a good measure of a keywords competition. There have been times when I've entered a keyword in and the phrase match competition was 1 million, and then I entered the same keyword in the next day and it was only 70,000.

Basically phrase matching isn't always reliable.

Here is the one you can use:

Rank Tracker - Track Your Search Engine Rankings Easily!

You can set broad, exact and phrase match when analyzing competition (it's not PPC competition, it's the number of organic search results returned for that keyword).

There is also a free version which allows you to do a lot in terms of keyword research
