Okay so my sites been up for about 1-2 months now and is ranking 57 on cuterank for google u.s. I'm trying to get it higher than that and was wondering what are some good SEO services I could buy for up to like 20$ to boost my site up the google ladder.

you need quality links, and for that you need to put some work or put some money...

20$ is very small. My suggestion is to hire an SEO expert from Odesk since that is where I subcontract all my SEO work but take time to interview the contractors with a portfolio to show.

I'd say $20 is not going to be enough money, so invest your time instead. Write some high quality articles and submit them to the top article directories. Make some videos and put them onto video sharing sites such as YouTube and Daily Motion - using the description box to link back to your site.

Press releases work well if you have got a good news angle. Send press releases to related news sites and PR distribution networks. That can create some high quality backlinks too.

Also use Twitter, Google Plus, Delicious, Reddit, Digg, and Stumbleupon to bookmark all your content and ask a few friends to use their social media accounts to do to same to help you out.

Or pay $3 for a 500+ word article from iWriters.com, spin the hell out of it and submit it to all the web 2.0 and social bookmarking sites you can.

It's easier to write your own article than use those cheap article outsourcing websites, I've tried a lot of them and the quality was appalling.

If spinning this needs to be done by hand rather than using software. If you are intelligent enough about how you do it you can produce totally unique articles that make 100% sense to the reader.

always hire someone for quality link building services, ask him to add your links on high PR sites (Back links must have greater than PR 3)
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[6096576].message }}

You should have a variety of backlinks including those from site with less than PR3 for them to be natural. Don't just concentrate on high PR sites that are dofollow. You need some no follow links as well.

I think link building is not the way forward. Instead concentrate on high quality content that will pre-sell your offers. Think where your prospective customers are likely to hang out and see if you can get some useful content on there.

Rather than investing on automated tools, I would suggest to do SEO yourself by learning it or search for any free SEO offers on this forum , I am sure you will find it

With $20 - You can hire an article writer and write many articles, publish them on press release sites and etc... build more contextual links - That will help you to get up in ladder - I would suggest to target long tail keyword at first,

How much work can you do yourself?

The single most expensive aspect of promotion is Content Creation (articles/videos/press releases/etc). With a budget of $20 I recommend creating all content yourself, then paying for distribution and social media (bookmarking, tweeting, etc).

Before promoting, make sure you have done everything you can to make your site attractive to both the search engines AND real people.

The easiest test to make sure your site is appealing to visitors (and therefore has a low bounce rate and ranks better in Google), is to ask yourself "If I typed [KEYWORD] into Google and then clicked on this website in the results, would I be happy with what I got?"

My friend also used this site service and got huge improvement in their site ranking on Google. After getting huge improvement on Google, he inform about this site work. This site seo work is very nice but will not provide any links report. Just we have to check out site ranking improvement on Google after 7 days. Hey guys. I was reading this thread and I have some questions myself. For example, someone told me if I wanted higher rankings I needed fresh content.

My site is about 4 months old. I payed someone on wf to make it for me. Does that mean that I have to delete or spin the content on my site and get it reindex again?

or does that mean that I have to write 1, 2 or how many unique articles with that matter and have someone submit submit them to all of the web 2.0 directories and leave my content alone.

I don't know how many articles I should have and I don't know how to submit them.

I have enough money right now to have 10 articles build for me, but how many article is enough to get better rankings.

How does the whole process work?

Do I tell the writer my url and my keyword that I am trying to rank for?

Once he gives me my completed article, how do I submit that to all of the directories and also have them index, and crawl?

Sorry on intrude on your thread, but I hope I am also going along the lines here and my questions are relevant.

How much do someone charges at Odesk? I would love to get a ranking on the top 3 in google. Can you recommend someone?

You wrote that thread about someone working on your sites and your rankings dropped right? New content won't help to get your other content ranking again (unless you completely replace the url's, I just did a test on a site and that worked awesome, using the same content).

What you need is some real strong links to replace the old ones, and you'll rank like never before.

If it's onpage that is good, if it's offpage I wouldn't recommend that. The review system works in such way that people have to leave a review when the job is delivered and not after they've seen an increasement in rankings.

Most people at Odesk and Freelancer who do SEO have no clue whatsoever and still stick to old methods that haven't worked for years.

            Just my 2 cents.

So i am guessing you are saying that from experience. I thought people at Odesk new seo. I wasn't aware they stuck with old seo methods.

The problem is that I don't know which seo package to purchase here on warrior for hire section. I purchased one of them and it mess up my new site whoch was ranking on the 3rd position for 3 months with no backlinks at all, then after I purchased it , it has settle on page 25 and it hasn't moved since.

So I am confused if I should just keep taking more and more chances and just choosing randoms seo packages being offer in here?

Not specifically my own experience but reactions I got from clients. Besides that I often browsed oDesk and I know what they are offering and it's not much good.

Yeah I read about your experience and it sucks. Let me work on your site and you pay after you get results. I don't do that often but sometimes I make an exception when I read stories like this. I know I can get you back and if not for whatever reason then you haven't lost anything as you are on page 25 already and wouldn't have to pay. Can't break something that is already broken

I don't think $20 is going to cut it for a "professional seo service."

These service tend to cost a bit more than that. You can look around this forum and see which has the best reviews and go off that. You would be surprised at the deals you can find and the professional people that are around here.

It's easy to spend $20 and then follow that with another $20 and another and get nowhere. You'd be better off saving your money, learning as much as you can and saving your money until you can afford some serious promotion.

You can spend $20 here and $20 there and increasing your ranks, but you better be sure to know what you are going to buy for that money.

Just a hint, there are plenty of paid web directories where you can get a featured listing and those are pretty effective.

For a budget of $20 you can try your luck out at fiverr. Just select the best rating gig providers.

This is the one option to spend $20, otherwise search freelance websites to look for cheap service providers.

    Good luck.
