I bought a PR4 , with about 6000 backlinks, if I 301 redirect that domain to my money site, will my money site now have or eventually have 6000 links and become PR4?

Thank you

If you redirect it, your site will now effectively have those backlinks. In fact, after redirects like these Google Webmaster tools starting reporting these backlinks for the target site as if they were directly linking to the domain.

So yes, your money site will reap whatever benefits or penalties there are to be had if you do the 301.

Ok, thank you , but wouldnt the site be sandboxed, because it all of a sudden got so many backlinks?

The PR was not a fake PR, but the language was in spanish and I changed it to englsih and used different content, so the domain PR dropped to zero

Did you do a check to make sure the domain you bought didn't have fake PR?

I would just put the PR4 on a server with a unique IP, add wordpress and put a high quality article with contextual link.

301 a domain is technically against Google's TOS. Making it a website with good content is not.

      Actually that's not true.

People acquire domains/businesses all the time. And many times it makes sense to merge those properties into one.

There's been several webmaster videos from Google based solely on the proper use of 301s, website mergers, etc. You should look at them.

All you need to keep in mind, is that it can start to look suspect if all you do is buy other sites and 301 them. I wouldn't do more than 2-3 301s to a site. (not including other extensions of the same domain to protect the brand).

Yeah, this is often a problem (about the fake PR!) // Be sure to check it to see if the backlinks are quality! Try to redirect a part of them to your main website
