Should we now takes our sites off from WM tools / analytics?

Unfortunately tons of marketers are being hit by the allmighty Gooooooogle and our sites have been erased from top rankings.
(Not all my sites are gone but my big money-makers are history for now...)

Should we now stop using google`s own tools like analytics and webmasters tools?

I mean, can google be so sneaky that they check our wm tools and penalize all of sites that are at the same account?

Honestly, can google think like this: "Oh, this guy has one site that doesn`t meet our quality criteria...and seems he has also 30 more sites stored to our wm tools...so let`s punish him big time by getting rid of ALL his sites because they are most likely ALL as bad...Har har har..."(and then they hit the big red "erase from google" button)

What you say, should we abandon google`s tools for good?

If you DO NOT have Adsense on the website(s) then YES.

If you DO have Adsense there is no need, since Google already knows most they need.

Good point but does google care that much about adsense sites because they make lotsa money to google?

Well to be honest, i have enabled Adsense / WNT / Analytics in all (25) websites as i created them.

I have nothing to hide (well ... almost nothing ...).

I don`t need to hide anything either and most of my have more quality content than my competitors. Still, me and hundreds of others see huge dive in rankins...

Dive in rankings today ? Or the last months ?

If today, then you should wait 1-2 weeks.

Just checked some of mine, and yes i'm from page 2 in 100+. But early to tell.

Don't think it makes much difference if you have them or not.

At least if you have them you know why your site has been penalised, rather than being in the dark about it if you don't! Though like i say, i don't think this makes much difference either.

Doesn't really matter - I got hit pretty bad after the BMR debacle and after yesterday/last nights up date anything I had left was pretty much destroyed and not a single thing in webmaster tools etc...

This last update was the nail in the coffin for me and straight up SEO - was a fun ride!
