Matt Cutts says:

I saw a recent post where several sites were asking about their search rankings. The short explanation is that it turns out that our classifier for parked domains was reading from a couple files which mistakenly were empty. As a result, we classified some sites as parked when they weren't.

I apologize for this; it looks like the issue is fixed now, and we'll look into how to prevent this from happening again.

Doh! Didn't look at the date of the post.

Wonder if Google will issue any "corrections" to the update on the 25th.

  They will probably use different wording. Dont look for them to say their algorithm messed up. Instead, they might say that the made some adjustments to tweak the algorithm after initial data was able to be analyzed, or something like that.
  
  They will probably modify and admit modifications in the next week or so.
