I can get there but I can't seem to stay there

I recently had the first page on Google for the key phrase "8 Week Action Plan", but as of today it's like it disappeared completely. It is a squidoo lens that seemed to be doing great for a short while.

Can anyone shed some light on how to maintain that top listing for more than a day or two?

If there is already a thread here related please let me know.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think I have broken any. Do you have any suggestions for continued SEO strategies. I understand about backlinking and and a few other seo basics..but I would be all ears to any advice.

  Proper basic backlinking could be the key. Just don't overdo it. Google could tract any massive backlinks going to your site and might find this strategy spamish. Post some comments on few high ranking site and blog sites, article directory submission is also good in geeting unique visitors coming on your site.
