Hi to all.
It is my first post here so I think i should present myself. Im a 22 year old guy from Albania. I would define myself as an amateur webmaster. I like to write for the things I like and I like to improve my skills on site development. I have started everything from scratch 1 year ago with squidoo lenses and now I am concentrating on Blogger.

Now on topic. I have a blogger blog which according to google webmaster tools has 40.000 monthly impressions and only 900 clicks. Is this acceptable? And If not, what should I do to improve things.

Thanks in advance

It seems that impressions don't have much close relationship with the actual traffic(clicks).

Impressions are google searches when my site has appeared on that page.

There is direct relation between impression and clicks
Impressions is that how many times website URL displayed on a search engine results page?
Clicks is how many times does someone click on website URL from a search engine results page
But there is another thing, traffic against keywords and where you rank on search engine(Position).

My top keyword has had 18 000 searches 70 clicks and an average position of 2.3
What are your ratios? total clicks/total impressions

Is you site brand related, or a topic of a similar site? Sometimes searchers just know what they're looking for and they will automatically overlook your site..

You could try making your title more relevant... 10%/40% is a good CTR.
