Was thinking about paying for a gig that would give me 500 facebook likes for my business page. Will Google drop me off the radar for this. And is this good or bad for SEO paying for Facebook Likes. Thanks

I am a Facebook Likes seller on Fiverr and I can tell you that Likes DO NOT effect your SEO results in any way........it simply gives you a higher number...........of course it has a few positives but I would rather address the question only.

I've used Fiverr for facebook likes on a few of my pages so they looked more popular in the beginning (from my experience, not as many people like a fanpage that has only a handful of views compared to a page that already has a few hundred) and I didn't see any negative results from it.

    hmm

what about google plus ones ?

Also if you like a facebook fan page to your site it helps credability for your site in the serps, just wonderinf if that facebook fan page having more likes does

      <sarcasm>

If you are in the same niches as me then go for it.

Why stop at 500? Google will love you. Honest

I think the one thing it does add is credibility. You need to be careful to not actually add to many Likes at once if you want to show your Likes in the new view - I think it looks weird when "New York City Bagels" get 10k Likes in 3 days and the most popular city is listed as some crazy city in pakistan.

I know all of the best Fiverr gigs for likes and different ways of getting them. From my experience, if you get an exact match username for your page, and gradually add lots of likes, it does help with SEO. In fact, my Facebook page is beating my website for the same keyword, by a lot actually, which wasn't really what I was intending, but there you go.

using fiver gigs has horrible results on the pages... many get banned, or they never appear aagin in google searches

wasting money on fiver is one of the worst ideas you can ever try

I have 776 completed orders Selling Likes on Fiverr and never had a page banned.......

Actually if you buy from someone that delivers 1000 Likes to your page in 8 hours then I am sure it can look suspect........make sure you get a slow drip......so maybe pages get banned....but not mine :-)

somehow, self promoting you here with such hype, when you have only not even 10 posts, is not only breaking the terms of the Warrior Forum, but also makes you have ZERO credibility

I have lurked for about 8 months. Why dont you look at some of the other 9 posts......one is quality.....besides I am not trying to make a sale. This is what I do and I want to pass on a bit of knowledge.

I just joined today anyhow. Do you see me posting a link?......or a price? I do not want to get into it anymore than saying that so I wont respond.......and sorry if I offended you.

It wont d much of anything either way, besides give you more likes.
They just usually wont be very responsive.
But at least you LOOK popular... And thats what youre paying for.

Surely even if the Likes are from Dead and fake accounts how would Google Ever Know that a 'Like' came from a dead or live Facebook Account?

I do not think it matters in the indexing in ANY way. I have never seen a jump in Google pagerank from taking a page from 1 to 1000 Likes......I think what give it the higher PR is honest commenting (using the keywords that a user is searching) by real people - which is difficult to get if not impossible with Fiverr Likes - including mine (shameless unselfish promotion).

But with the original question I have seen zero effect on Google PR - fake accounts, semi real looking accounts, traffic exchange sites, and real accounts that dont interact.

for me, the likes amount is useless if there is no niche correlation.

and about serp, yes it is not related!

It's so often said nowadays how important social signals are, there must be some truth to it! I'd definitely try that Facebook gig out, also get some links from Twitter and Pinterest as well.

It would certainly not harm your SERP but on the other end it won't do you any good coz most of them are fake fans.

I had a bad experience. I once buy those 1000 likes and after few days I realized that those likes were disappearing. I mean I was getting 4 to 5 dislikes every day.

Here is the thing.... Search engines seem to favor pages w/ more fans so for that purpose they are a good buy. That is provided that you get some backlink gigs and boost the ranking of the page in other ways as well. The downside is that all of those people will be completing unresponsive which will negatively affect your edge rank and your ability to put your posts in front of the most people.

I've bought lots of Likes for multiple sites and have noticed no difference in the SERPs. Sometimes the Likes stick sometimes they don't. But remember it's only $5

It can only help you promote your Facebook page, it won't affect ANY website (otherwise webmasters would use it to CONQUER a keyword by blasting fake likes to competitors websites...). Not too helpful, but a great way to drive some extra TARGETTED visitors to your website!

In my opinion, fiverr likes are okay and give your business a boost and credibility in the eyes of visitors to your fb page.
