How to get rid from virus ?

Hi, recently i came across that one of my site is affected with virus. It says tat "This site may harm you computer"
I now cleared the virus and again uploaded the back. And i sent request by logging into Google webmaster, for re-considering my site. The request has been successfully completed.
Currently my site is not opening because of the malicious attack.
I want to know how long Google takes to solve this issue.
Please help me in solving my site issue. Or else, what i have to do further to rectify ?
