Backlinks Juice & hidden Layer

Hello,

I would ask how link juice is passed from Page A where the link is to Page B (my money Site)?

I hear a lot of people that are doing "pyramidal links" .. so instead of linking directly from Page A to money site, they made links from Page A to a "hidden layer" then to the money site. This way, there is no loss of link juice issued from the link on the page A to the money site?
However, what would be the best choice of the hidden layer: web 2.0 properties, bookmarks, social media, a normal webpage belonging to me ???
How many should we use as hidden layers and how many layers.. is there any recommendations?

Thanks a lot,
Regards,
-Fadi

Yes there is linkjuice lost when you work with layers, and I think "hidden layer" is not really the right word but that aside.

You have to make sure that when you build bufferzones that they are dofollow, certain web2.0 properties are nofollow so check that on forehand.

Web2.0's and bookmarks can both function as buffer pretty well, personally I would go for web2.0's and build bookmarks to them as well as other links like for example blog ntworks. An even better option is to have domains that function as buffer as they are your property and no one can ever take it away from you. This way you can also ensure the links are high relevant.

You can also use video sites or social network sites as buffer. Keep in mind though that Youtube and Facebook are nofollow.

Also you never want to use blogcomments as buffer but that should speak for itself. Web2.0 profiles can also function as buffer but I'm a bit less of a fan of that as they don't leave much room for content and are generally a bit spammy imo.

How many layers depends a bit on the quality of the links. For example:

    tier1: web2.0 / guestposts / video sharing sites / pages you own
tier2: bookmarks / article distribution / doc sharing sites
tier3: dofollow comments / wiki article links / backlink index services

When you're carefull with article distribution you can point 1 link directly to your money site and the other link in the article to tier 1. When using public blog networks like FBL, AR etc for article distribution I would only point them at tier1.
