What is backlink and reciprocal link in terms of SEO?

While submitting a listing in the directories which option is most preferable? Is it the reciprocal link or regular link? Which is the best option and practice?

It's better to use regular links. Links with reciprocal are now loved by Google and if it finds you your rankings will suffer...

Basic difference between Back link and Reciprocal link:

Back links: Links on other sites that lead to your blog or website are called back links.

Reciprocal links: A link that you add to your site so as to get your link added to the other site is called reciprocal link.

Of course regular. If you select reciprocal then you have to copy paste their url in your website.

You should choose the regular link option. In reciprocal link, you have to give a back link to the directory from your website, which is not good for your website

reciprocal link is kind of paid link where you have to give a link back to that website in respect to place backlink .So better option is regular and moreover you can get paid links on high relevant and pr website that will beneficial for you.
