$450/mo Passive Income and Growing...Fast!

Basically 2 months ago my partner and I decided to start working on building niche sites for the purpose of ranking them on Google and getting some good passive income. We've had quite a learning curve but we were able to break through. Here are the results.

-We have 10 sites sitting on the first page of Google for their main keyword.
-6 of those 10 are within the top 5 spots of Google for the main keyword.
-A few of these sites are starting to see subkeywords ranking on the first page
-Our two biggest sites are starting to get as much as 70-80 visitors per day each

With all of this, our passive income average over the course of this week is $15 per day and growing fast. Now $15 might not seem like that much, but that's a rate of $450 per month of passive income. If I were to take that a step further and measure the online real estate value of that, then we're looking at potentially $8000. So not too bad for just starting on this 2 months ago.

Right now we're starting to build at a rate of a site per day and our passive income is increasing fast. It's really exciting.

Anyone can do this kind of thing, just set your mind to it and set your goals. Don't give up!
#$450 or mo #growingfast #income #passive

Choosing keywords is an important part of it in addition to link building method you used. But two months is a short time for making $450/monthly and its a good improvement. I think your keywords are high CPC keywords according to the low traffic your sites receive. Yes?

What are you using? Clickbump? CTR theme? Are they still effective to this date?

It really does seem that keyword research is the biggest role and always have been!

We're using various themes. Some are CTR, some use the Niche Site Theme, and Some use prosense. We'll be trying out more themes later.

Our actual cpc earnings average is roughly $0.56

Nice. So even with CTR theme (which is so limited but obviously catered to Adsense), you didn't lose rankings? In that case, the myth that people say these themes cause your ranks to get sandbox is false.

Absolutely agree. I still have internal struggles over how dense to make these type of sites though. Also, I've noticed creating a headline with a question rather than a statement draws the most long tails. Check it out!

What your criteria for making these micro niche sites? Search volume for keywords? Level of competition? CPC value?

How exactly is it passive income when you've been constantly working on them?

Congratulations on being another person to make a "How I made <Insert Value> by making 10 thousand bad sites" thread.

This isn't a self promotion forum, it's clear from your sig what you're doing.

      Hey MrTrance,

The filters for our keyword are as follows:

At least 1200 Exact Match Searches in Google Keyword Tool
      At least $1.00 CPC
Exact Match Domain used if available, if not then we'll add a Prefix or Suffix (such as "pro" or "hq") to the keyword when buying a domain
Low Competition on the Google Top Ten :
      - Less than half are optimized for keyword in the title
      - Low PR on at least 2 of the top ten sites
      - Low amount of quality backlinks links.

Right now we're testing out a bunch of backlinking strategies:

One backlinking method consist of just - Web2.0, Articles, and Videos directly to our money sites. We then build a second tier off just social bookmarks and RSS (we're trying this with magic submitter). We also have a site that ranked by just submitting to Unique Article Wizard. We've also outsourced a few sites to a couple of people to see if they can boost some sites on their own.

I don't care about the rising and falling that some marketers are experiencing. Our goal is to attack various money making methods head on and bare witness to the results ourselves. If people are too afraid to take a step, then they should just quit and stick to their day jobs.

I think what he means by PASSIVE is that this is his little side project. His ACTIVE income is the job that he, you know, works at 8 hours per day?

If you want to be a stickler over the actual definition of the word "passive" then by all means, but I think most of us understand what the poster actually meant when he used the word "passive".

    smh

I may not agree with the micro niche model, but I have nothing but respect for Mosa and every other member on this forum. It's crazy that all I see are people taking cheap shots at him, worrying about the definition of the word passive, and as far as his sig goes it says he reveals his info for free. I could see if he was selling a "how to build micro niche sites" e-book or something.

Actually my active job is all in front of this computer. We do build sites for people on the side as well as build these niche sites. We're also working towards other online monetizing strategies.

Thanks for the support. There's always going to be people taking stabs at others, I just like to ignore it and move on - not worth the negatvie energy

This is why we're testing multiple strategies. We like to see for ourselves which links are working and which aren't. Do we lose money doing this? Sure, but in the end we learn a lot from the process and then we pick the one thats working and capitalize on it.

There's a lot to be learned to experience.

Hey man, you are getting 70-80 visitors per website per day which means 800 visitors for all of the 10 websites. How come you are able to generate $15 per day with that kind of traffic?

Nice job. I'm doing something similar, 9 sites built so far and last month was close to $700. Each site was built in a day, minimal backlinking and I maybe add one post per month. They take a month or two to hit first page. I go after low comp terms with high traffic, they are easier to find than you think if you don't worry about researching CPC prices (there will always be ads), and forget about little buying type niches.

        Hey extremejava,
Just to clarify, the top two sites each get around 70-80 visitors per day. That doesn't include the other sites that we have ranked.

That's awesome to hear Charlie! We're actually on route to hit $700+ ...we'll see if it happens. Our goal is to be at $50 per day by the end of the month.

    Hey Mosa,

Congrats buddy I do believe that we all can achieve passive income from this whole niche-marketing stuff! It just needs time before it grows into a real money-making machine.

I've visited your blog and started reading. But as some people above me mentioned, can you tell us a little bit more about your link building strategy? We all really want to know about it!

    Thanks a lot
