Posts or Pages on WP for Adsense

I am just starting out with Adsense, and I am just getting the content ready for my first Adsense site.
I will be using the CTR Theme.
I just have a quick question.
My first article I am going to create as a Post ... When I create the next articles, do I also make them a Post?
If so, will they all be on the homepage?
Is this what I want for an adsense site?
Or do I make article 1 a static post for the home page, and then just add the next articles as posts.
My Contact, Privacy and About pages are all going to be Pages.
I am just a bit confused about the structure of the site with the posts and pages.
If anyone could help me out and make it a bit simpler, that would be great!
