Hi

I am part time SEO. Works only when have time and project.

Currently I am working on very hot keywords, and using white hat SEO techniques. My website Alexa ranking is improving day by day.

Today I have strange problem at Google. My two major keywords are displayed at different ranks when I search them. Even I refresh the page, their positioned is changed. Early they appeared at a fixed location, then suddenly disappeared. Now they are appearing at different places between 50 and 400.

I have cleared browser history, deleted cache many time but the behavior is same.

Thanks.

Google has a multitude of data centres. When you access google.com, you have no idea what data centre you are going to land on. And all centres do not update in sync. It takes a while for them all to get to where Google figures they should be. Wait a week or so and try again. You'll likely find things to be a bit more stable. But yeah, with a spread like that showing in the SERPS, you are probably right to be worried.

I used to have a link to a site that I used years ago, that would check the SERPS across all the data centres, but I can't find it. You might want to try Googling it. At least it would provide you with a snapshot of what is happening across the board.

Thanks friedman for the suggestion. Proxify is now paid. I'll try to find its alternative.

Thanks Elle. Yup you are right, but I'm using single IP and same location for every time search. Will try to identify the problem.

define white hat methods as most people on here don't actually know what that means. If you're building the links yourself then you're not technically being "white hat" in Googles eyes.
