Adwords changing my bids automatically?

Hey guys,

So I have an adwords campaign setup, I set my keywords before bed (as I'm in Australia, this is generally when the US wakes up - who I am targeting) - For instance I will set a bid to $0.90.

Now the past couple of days I have woken up to find all my keywords set back to $0.15 and as a result I get no traffic. Why is this happening? I have the option for set manual clicks enabled and my budget is set to $50; the ad bid reverts back to $0.15 before I have even gotten close to $50..

Thanks

I very much doubt giggle would over ride your max bid settings / if so take some screen shots.

What happens is your max bid is just that, the maximum the system will bid on your behalf, this is not the amount that will be bid for as it may bid much lower if it is possible.

You have other settings also such as your preferred position, quality score comes into it along with other bits n bobs.

Maybe set your preferred position as 1 -3 or abouts

If you like call giggle adwords in Australia between 9 - 6 on 1800 287 850

Okay, for future reference to any facing the same issue - I had an automatic update set which would change my bid - +1 for Adwords support, very quick and helpful.
