Backlinks aren't showing up in spite of being Indexed?

I've made some web 2.0 sites with a backlink within content to my site. The sites got indexed by Google (I pasted the URLs and got them on search result). But when I check for the backlinks of my site, the simply just don't show up! I checked via SB Backlink checker add on, watchmybacklink .com
All of them are Do follow indeed. What the reason might be?
Or any other improve tool for getting reliable result?

not all backlinks will show on backlink tool (seo spyglass). The ones that links are built to tend to show more but not always

Yea backlink checker tools usually show about 5%-20% of your actual backlinks.

Use different softwares as it will vary alot depending on what you use, i have used one that picked up the first 1-5, the second then picked up 6-10. Another picked up 4-8. (just an example)
