Adsense: Before and After Panda

Knowing what you know right now about the recent updates, how do you plan to change your marketing with respect to AdSense? Some say that the days of picking tiny niches, throwing up a quick site, getting some backlinks, and then seeing some traffic, are over.

Others say to go even more "micro niche" than before.

What is your opinion?

    In my case, both panda and penguin updates gave benefit to my websites. However, since november of 2011 adsense changed drastically the content of their ads making them irrelevant to my sites niches.

      Many people think that Google is showing irrelevant ads on their adsense sites that are not related to the site's content. But what is probably happening is that they are showing "you" ads they think "you" might be interested in (they use cookies to do this).

      For example, I do a lot looking online for guns. Therefore I see this one "concealed carry" ad on a lot of sites that have nothing to do with guns.

    I am now focusing on marketing my own products and affiliate products, as well as, lead generation. I have lost interest in adsense and the search engines in a big way. I will still keep my adsense sites running and I will pay attention to seo, but I am not putting a lot of time into it.

    Most of my websites didn't got hit bad at all as expected, most sites gained betters results and some even got to the #1 position without extra SEO.

    Keep a diverse back link profile and unique content.
