Try posting some twitter updates. I've found twitter to be very useful in being cralwed and then later google indexing the site.

If You Observed, Your blog latest entry indexed by the Google while your blog home page haven't crawled yet! Normally Home Pages Takes some time to be crawled, So Be Patient and try to make Niche based back back Links!

Your Blog's sitemap is not up to mark, install Google Sitemap Generator Plugin and submit it again to webmaster tools.

Google Web Master tools have always been bad about sharing accurate information...its gotten even worse Post Penguin it seems. We had an issue with people thinking HPS wasn't indexing their articles because of what webmaster tools was saying...and I had to prove it to them (Which I did) and it showed that webmaster tools seems to be sharing even less info than before right now.

I have stated it many times, but I believe Google Webmaster Tools actually shows you the number of URLs in your XML sitemap that Google webmaster tools has checked are in the Google search index. That way, it all makes sense. Google might have the URL in its index already, but GWT hasn't discovered it yet

Might be your site is not turned on for indexing? Have you submitted your site to google webmaster tools? also, it's best to place a sitemap.xml on your site.

    Hello!

You should use social networking to promote your site. Then wait for at least 2 weeks cause it usually takes 2 weeks or more for Google to index, in the mean time, you can do more updates and link building for your site. Do lots of promotion and commenting.

    Best of Luck!

Just because you are updating your blog regularly and have submitted it to social bookmarking sites; doesn't mean that Google will index it for sure; within a week.

Google will take its time and you have nothing to worry about.

TIP: Just keep writing fresh content and try to submit your blog to authority sites like; blog directories, bookmarking sites and discuss on relevant boards.

    Good day...

My Blogger site has some similar issues. Sometimes articles are indexed in less than 1 minute and in top 3 of results.

Other times articles do not get indexed at all.

Could G only be indexing articles based on the searching volume of users?

Another words - if people are NOT searching "Widgets" then an article based on Widgets won't be indexed quickly?
