Different Browsers Different Serps

Hi all. I'm well aware of the google personalised feature. That being if your logged in you get a personalised serp result. I have 3 browesers ff, ie and chrome.
I rarely use chrome, never log into anything with it just use it to check a website i build (as I do regular work for offline clients) to ensure it looks proper across all browsers.
The strange thing is that I also used chrome the other day for searching a ky for one of my sites and the serp is showed had my ranked as #2. In ff and ie its on page 2 ranked at like #13. I am 100% not logged into google with chrome and I said earlier rarely use it. I can't figure out why in chrome I'm #2. Is this stuff normal?
