Anyone know how it differs from Googles algo? I'm enjoying a lot of success on yahoo and bing and was just curious
#algo #yahoo or bing

Googles algo is more difficult than yahoo/bing algo. Recently google made it even tougher introducing penguin update. But if you get success there as well, don't hesitate to share. Best of luck!!

I am on the first page of Google but I want to be the top spot for my keywords not just on page one. For some reason, bing/yahoo love me. I cam try any variation of my keyword and I'll be one of the first few.

If anyone is curious, I achieved my rankings by guest blogging, varied anchor text (like click here) and creating good content (It's so nice when people do your linkbuilding for you!). I also do a little bit of blog commenting (maybe one or two comments a week) and I'm huge into social media. Social media is key for me.

There's an excellent article on what Bing looks for here. They seem to like fresh new, non-spammy content among other things.

Cool, thank you. That probably explains my rankings on bing. I have a blog that is updated 2x a week

I have several sites that rank #1 on Bing but nowhere on Google, so there are differences. I would really like to see Bing gain an equal market share of the search engine traffic. It would keep all parties honest.

Agreed. Unfortunately, mostly everyone uses Google and they have such a strong hold on the market.
