Google ranks the website by focusing on link popularity, diversity and prominence where as Bing ranks the website by focusing on on-page factors.

    Regards!!!

He meant that while Google relies heavily on the number of links pointing to your site, Bing on its turn relies on content. Therefore, do more on-page SEO and add content. In addition, register with Bing's webmaster.

        Hope it'll help

Will allow you to monitor your website's activity on Bing. You have to verify your website's ownership for Bing's Webmaster tools just like Google Analytics and Google Webmaster tools.
I guess it could make your website more trustworthy in the eyes of Bing. We all need all the traffic we can get to our domains.

Bing and yahoo ranking depends more in on-page SEO factors, your website must be SEO friendly in all aspects and includes all on page SEO strategies. Yahoo and Bing search results are same and Bing also looks for yahoo back links, so try to submit your website links in Yahoo Answers, Yahoo Bookmarks, Yahoo Directory, Yahoo Groups, etc

Google and bing are strong competitors. We should always be ready incase bing wins this competition.

Explain to us how bing is a strong competitor? Begging or a crum to fall on the floor from lord G's table more like it.
That's a VERY wrong attitude to take. Rolling over and submitting should never be an option. Google is in the position right now because WE put them up there. Likewise, WE can take them down too.

The massive changes Google has done has not gone down well with many people too. Go check other forums where the people do a bit more thinking than your average clueless surfer (Sorry, couldn't resist, but it's the truth).

You on your part, should be expediting the process by encouraging everyone you know, to switch search engines.

It won't be immediate, but think about it, how many people got affected by Penguin? If a million webmasters were affected, and they all get a few people to switch......think about it. The only tragedy here is those who still drink the G kool-aid, even after all that has happened.

I once got a message on my cell phone; Searching for an item is always associated with Google. You may have heard of the term "I Googled it..." no one has ever used the term "I will Bing it...". So if you are doing great with the big gun then it is OK, In my case for a site that rates good in Google will rate good in Bing as well.

Bing focuses more on on page factors and therefore it is easier for new sites to rank in Bing but Google considers the page popularity while ranking a web page and therefore it is harder to rank for.

There are some certain factors that make the differences in ranking system of bing from google. In bing, factors like age of the domain and proper key wordings are major tools in page ranking. Domain popularity for long period of time may gave better ranking than new one.

Search engines, including both G and B, rank pages not sites. You need to check each page because you may have interior pages that rank well and a main page that ranks very low.

I am almost sure that you will NOT be interested in doing SEO for BING. Google will give you the key to success, by the way, if you work just for Google, your website will also have a very high position in other search engines (like yahoo and bing) too
