Meta Description Advice

Normally I'd write a meta description that appeals to the use/visitor but I post 182 article and with blogger each one has to be done by hand, which is the only draw back I've ever experienced with using blogger.

Now instead of doing the meta tags for each post , I posted all of my articles with out doing any meta tags. So now I was thinking of taking a short cut, by just using the first 2 sentences of each article as the meta description, instead of writing a unique meta description.

Has anyone noticed if using a meta description that is attractive to users increase click through rate to your site, or it doesn't matter.

I personally rely on the post title to be attractive.

Example: If somebody is looking for" how to get rid of acne scares fast" and my post title is closely related ,it shouldn't matter with my meta descriptions says right?

The second one is defiantly better but I'm to lazy to do 182 such descriptions lol. This is the only time I wish I was using wordpress, because they have plug-ins for this, blogger needs to step it up in this regard.

If your keyword that the traffic searches for is at the top of the page, Google will most likely grab that relevant text & display it as the SERP Description text.

Look at Wikipedia internal pages, they don't use any Meta tags for the Keyword or Description.

There's another trick you can use that involves jump-links & SERP descriptions, but that's a bit more involved with the on-page layout.
