Ideal Number of Backlinks in a Day?

Usually i hear people talking about creating thousands of backlinks in a day, obviously most of them being created by applications or softwares. Since things have got different over the time after Google released its updates, creating spammy links is avoided. At the same time there are beliefs that excess link building can also leave you in danger to get penalized. What is the ideal number of backlinks which you think can be created in a day?
#backlinks #day #ideal #number

I work for a large internet marketing firm with clients paying an average of £500,000 a year and we don't create more than one backlink a day for any client.

1000's a day is just ridiculous To absorb that kind of force without consequence requires authority and when you have that kind of authority you don't need to create 1000's of fabricated links.

Thanks for your reply. Sounds sane to me (the one backlink a day part). Although it's true that few people create 1000s of links a day and rank high on searches. However, i guess the scenario at present has changed after the Penguin update.

It's because they are building their links in tiers, I have seen some people churning out over 150000+ backlinks a day...

The more tiers you build, the more links you can build, but as matey mentioned it's really not needed, one good backlink a day can do the job just as good and will often outdo this tiered linking.

It may be takes only several days to build hundreds of backlinks, but the point is that backlinks are indexed for a long time (up to two months).Owing to this fact such slow increase in amount of backlinks looks natural for search engines and thus brings better results.

One a day, dang. Seems overly conservative to me. But definitely a good way to milk 500,000 a year.

      That, my friend, is ridiculous.

Posts like this always make me wonder what planet some of
you live on. Or maybe stuck in Fantasyland.

Now maybe you are doing more shtuff than one backlink, but
I can't imagine what's worth money like that.

In fact, anyone who says there is a limit to backlinking, is
just blowing smoke and shows their true colors.

Google loves viral. So, like I always say, if one backlink a day
is your goal, then put up a friggin sign on your page in large
      letters:
"PLEASE don't backlink to me! I am scared to death of being
penalized! I can't swallow more than one, so PLEASE DON'T
      BACKLINK TO ME!!!!"

I never said the links we create don't result in more backlinks, they do and plenty but we only create 30 backlinks a month that directly point to a clients site. No sites have been panalzed in the last year and after Penguin all of our clients rankings took a massive jump.

All of the sites we work with attract plenty of natural links, our input is in making sure the big money keywords rank well.

Dude you haven't seen the backlinks we create, just one is worth a 10000 of what I see generally being created by warriors. There's a reason why clients are happy to pay on average £500,000 a year.

It depends on the kinds of links you are building. 1 Link a day won't be enough for you. A good target is around 50 - 100 quality links a week. I'm consistently ranking sites with no more than that. The key is to use quality promotional content, diversifying you anchor text and most importantly getting your links indexed. Be aware, if you are using low quality, auto spun promotional content, your links won't be indexed for long and you will waste a ton of time.

Could you explain what you mean with diversifying your anchor text? Do you mean pointing to different pages on the website, or labeling the same link differently?

        Labelling the same link differently

Pointing links to other pages is called deep linking

The number could vary... But, pay a great attention to the fact, that you should build the same number of backlinks almost EACH day to say "I'm doing the best SEO strategy any1 could do" (So, if you can submit 1'000 each day, go for them )

hmm... personally I increase the amount of backlinks built per day every week and then start decreasing it gently after about 1 month... works so far, even post-pengiun (start with about 3 a day, then 5, 10, 20, 30... simulating a rise in popularity)

i always prefer doing link building in gradual way. at the starting of project we can start up with 2/3 links per day and after 15 days we can enhance our efforts but it basically depends on website if its new then we can go with this strategy but if the brand is already established then we can go with 10-15 links per day at starting.

Backlink is a must but not for everyday.

On the other hand, I have several sites that rank for my targeted keyword without any backlinks.

There is NO ideal number of back links per day. I, myself, do several a day, depending on my mood. Some go as high as 50 per day, depending on their niche market. But I found that a consistent 3 to 5 a day has boosted my traffic 3,500% more in the past 3 months

Building backlinks consistently will definitely help increase your websites SERP. I've seen this happen to some of my websites as well.

Thousands of backlinks per day can be really risky as per my view a few 10-50 a day for old site shall be fair enough if they are quality good backlinks.
