Theres only 3 google ads on that page.. the ads on the sidebar and in the top left of the content is not google adsense.

    edit:

just went to his homepage and clicked on the features article and he has 6 google adsense blocks on that page lol

Exactly.. at times thgere are a couple different ads (other than adsense) which show up in some of those blocks, but otherwise there are 4-5-6 adsense ads running on most of his pages...

I have recently seen a number of sites flouting the adsense TOS.. like this link themobileindian.com/reviews/ when you click on the "more reviews" button, new content appears with an adsense ad in it.. as you keep clicking the button, more ads appear every time. i would figure that's a violation too...

If you're gonna be minding people's business, at least do it right.

That site is running an Adserver and what looks to be CPM ads from various display networks. Most CPM networks allow you to setup "CPM chaining" which basically means if they can't fill your traffic, they send to the default tags or next network in the chain.

I have chains as with much as 3 - 5 links, and I usually have Adsense at the bottom of the chains because they usually fill 100% regardless of whether the visitor is in the US or say India.

Including adsense code as a default tag will load it via an iframe of the CPM network's tag. That allows you to have more than maximum 3 adsense ads per page - though not your primary intention. Most times to US & Canada, UK visits only 3 or less adsense ads will shown. In countries, where there is less CPM inventory, adsense is shown is all slots.

They are a premium publisher. Not sure how you people find
    this stuff.

If a normal user ads 5 blocks , they will not be banned. Only 3
will show. Common mistake to add more than 3. On a content
    page, that is.

Premium publishers can define things. Like keywords even.
They get laser-target ads. Wish we could all do that.

They even get more ad blocks to use.

However, all of us have a chance to use more than 3 ad blocks.
Your RSS feed can have several. I've seen my blogspot blog
with 20+. Very easy with blogspot to define ads for RSS.

I am wondering when someone will 301 their blog to the rss feed.
    Have not seen that yet.

I see 6 ad blocks but only 2 adsense. Look carefully.
Adsense image ads have a blue "adchoices" aero in the top right corner.
