Most Efficient Moneymaking Model/Use of Time?

So for those who have tried various models - microniche sites, authority sites, listbuilding for affiliate sales or others - which one have you found makes the most money for the time put in?

I'm really curious if I have limited time what would be the wisest way to go both in terms of the overall model and just if I have a spare hour what is the best use of it. I think they're connected since obviously whatever I would do with a spare hour would be determined by which model I'm using.

Anyway, interested to hear thoughts from people who have experience actually making money with several of these models.

The best online business that made me the most money was retail through Adwords, made a bucket load.

But that means you already had an offline retail business and were just advertising it through Adwords? I'm more interested in the business itself being online.

No it was 100% fully online, other than shipping but I had someone come and collect it.. If I weighed my time up pound for pound retail paid better than anything else, Plus I spent less time doing it, only 3/4 hours work per day... PM me if you want to see the type of business I was running.

The best use for my time online is to build large Amazon review sites.

I make sure that there is lots of great original content on there and not every post is pimping ads.

A great site dedicated to the niche and teaching people about products I love, I make money through people purchasing after reading the reviews, but I attract people through high ranking original content.

Which other methods have you tried and why do you find the Amazon review site more time efficient? Actually it seems like building a site like that would take a tremendous amount of time.

My largest amazon review site takes no more than an hour per day to maintain. With amazon, I make the equivalent of a full time income working just an or so per day.

I bet you probably had to spend a bucket loads of time learning and testing to find what products work best, layouts, themes, etc etc to use. A bit like someone going to college to get an education, time had to be spent learning with no pay.

Well experience certainly helps. That said, I was able to provide an overview of my entire strategy in the short amazon blueprint below. It's really not difficult.

Exactly, anything worthwhile is never easy. Whatever business model you choose to start with, there is a learning period. So, I wouldn't expect to make any money within the first couple of months.

I am sure every successful internet entrepreneur has gone through this often very frustrating period. However, the end result will be well worth it.

Yes but it's not the maintenance once it's built up that's the concern. It's how long does it take to build a large Amazon review site and get significant traffic coming to it in the first place?

Most of my sites start ranking within a week and once that happens, new posts are usually indexed and getting traffic within hours of being posted. I can build a 50-100 product site inside of a month easily.

Since I target low competition products, I make things very easy on myself.
