New To Scrapebox Someone help!

Hi Everyone,

Just got a copy of scrapebox 3 days ago and I've been going over all types of guides and youtube videos. The problem is they all have very out dated info! For example some people on the forum (not this one) Has said not to use the automated comment feature etc.

And some of these videos on youtube say nothing about this but than again alot of them are from 2010!

I just wanna start off with this new software RIGHT. There has to be a updated video or course of someone teaching how to use this software correctly. So far I've loaded up scrapebox with Private Proxies but out of fear dont know what to do next without leaving footprints all over the place.

Can some warrior point a brother out in the next steps he should be taking after scraping??

    Scrapebox is still REALLY helpful when it comes to harvesting high PR posts / blogs, DoFollow blogs, etc. If you're going to use the fast poster I'd suggest pointing it @ your tiers and not your site directly.

    As far as video tutorials, have you tried searching for tutorials from the past month?

    You can also just sort them by date and look for videos from the past 6 months or so.

      Scrapebox can do SO MANY things that I'm still finding new uses even though I've had it for a year and a half.

    I don't know of any recent videos, but most of the old videos should still be relevant. The program really hasn't changed. Just methods people use.

    I agree with JSProjects, point it at your 2nd or 3rd tier backlinks and let it rip.

    You can also harvest relevant blogs, filter by pr, and then do manual comments.

    I can help with scrapebox but as far as searching and finding updatex info just type in the year with your search. Thats what i do to get the latest updated info like scrapebox tutorials 2012.

    Yeah after alot of people telling me to start with scrapebox I picked it up a week ago. All I can say is its pretty f-ing cheap for what it can do! I'm working with alot of easy compition nivhes with high traffic I wonder if its pretty easy to rank on the first page with just scrapebox. Yeah I wanna thank everyone too you guys have been a great help!

      It can be. Just be aware that you're playing with fire and will probably face some sort of penalty in the future if you go purely with Scrapebox on your own domain.

      I can rank a Youtube video, for example, pretty quickly with 80/20 "DoFollow" blasts. (About 80% DoFollow & 20% NoFolllow) But YT can handle the sudden surge of links and tends to hold its rank pretty well.

      That's not to say that the videos won't eventually get slapped. I'd bet that they will sooner or later. But if you're trying to rank quickly and don't care about long-term issues SB + a site with a high authority can usually do the trick.

    How do you clean your harvested list's to export them to another software or list?
    SB gives you a lot of different ways to clean a list. (Remove duplicate URLs, URLs from the same domain, URLs with a certain word, etc.) It exports it as a simple txt file so it should be compatible with pretty much anything.

      That's pretty much the main thing I use it for. After a couple of days I can usually have a fairly large list of DoFollow blog posts that are open for comments. (Many being PR1 or higher.) I've used SB to create nearly 50 different lists that I've offered via my sig.
