How to get more relevant adsense ads?

I run a fitness site and I've been getting ads for SEO companies? WTF? I only noticed this after watching my visitors actions. How do I get my adsense ads more targetting to fitness/diet/nutrition products?

      I clicked on your site and I was seeing fitness based ads, so it seems like it might just be a case of you seeing interest-based ads instead of content-specific ads.

      Were you viewing pages on your site in the same browser that you were just reading SEO stuff on? Google might have just been displaying SEO-interest based ads instead of fitness ads because there weren't any more relevant ads to show.

      You said you were checking visitor actions, so maybe you were seeing people that had clicked over to your site from a warrior forum link, so they were also seeing SEO interest-based ads.

      You can turn them off through AdSense by clicking the "Allow and Block Ads" tab at the top of your AdSense account, then click "Advanced Settings" if you want to turn that off. I would read up more on whether that's the right choice or not, since a lot of people seem to think it is best to keep that setting turned on.

    You obviously haven't read about adsense behavioural targeting.

    The ads displayed for you are different to everybody else.

    It would be nice to filter by keyword but everyone would enter the high paying keywords and it would probably bugger up the whole system. Over time it is possible to to filter out ads that you do not want with the competitive ad filter and a new filter is in Beta that lets you filter by category, lets hope we see it soon.
    Really like your blog and the video but I could not find a privacy policy so you are breaking the Adsense TOS.
