Indexing and Backlinking Question

Hello,

When you first create a new site in a micro niche do you finish publishing all articles before you start thinking about indexing as a batch or do you publish one, start to get that indexed and then move onto the next article?

Also in regards to building back links, if you have a site that is targetting one main keyword but each post targets a micro niche inside that particular niche, where do you send your backlinks?

It will be easier to explain with an example, say you have the niche:

'improve tennis swing' and the URL is improvetennisswing.com, then you create a post about 'how to improve my forehand' so you structure the URL 'improvetennisswing.com/groundstrokes/how-to-improve-my-forehand' - do you then send your links directly to the post or just straight back to the homepage? I have asked another warrior and he just sent directly to the homepage but I was wondering what everyone else did with this.

I personally was thinking that I would send the majority back to the homepage but if I am commenting on blogs I would link directly back to the post?

Can anyone outline their strategy for the above two questions.

Thanks in advance!

For articles getting indexed or not, I don't really care whether they do get indexed or not. I just publish my articles and start the backlinking process straight.

For your case "improve tennis sing" & "how to improve my forehand in tennis"

"Improve tennis sing" - 80% anchor text to homepage, 20% to subpages (since its also quite related to your homepage)

"How to improve my forehand in tennis" - 80% anchor text to this page and 20% to homepage.

Don't forget to add some anchor text variation for anchor text diversity.

Thanks for clearing up the indexing question but I am still struggling to understand what you mean when it comes to back linking. I think I am just being stupid and just need some clarification. Is there any chance you could add some examples by what you mean? If I was to start tomorrow on gaining backlinks to those two keywords, what would you do?

You're confused on which page you should backlink, yes?

So, I just gave a quick example of how you should distribute your anchor text when backlinking.

"Improve tennis sing" - 80% anchor text of "improve tennis swing" to homepage, 20% anchor text of "improve tennis swing" to subpages (since its also quite related to your homepage)

"How to improve my forehand in tennis" - 80% anchor text of "how to improve my forehand in tennis" to this page and 20% anchor text of "how to improve my forehand in tennis" to homepage.

Let's say if you were to start tomorrow on backlinking, we'll do 20 web 2.0s for starters.

10 web 2.0s with anchor text "improve tennis swing" and with the above anchor text distribution of 80% to homepage & 20% to sub page.

10 web 2.0s with anchor text "how to improve my forehand in tennis" to the sub page and with the above anchor text distribution of 80% to the sub page & 20% to homepage.

    Hope that clarified some doubts.

You should create link juice and try not to point all the links your are creating directly to your money site. Be careful the animal is watching you.
