Hello,

I have a website and I also have several other websites like my own in my niche. How do I determine which keywords are sending the most traffic to the other sites in my niche?

    Pick the best keywords related to our niche. Try to search in Google of some keyword tool for your keyword research.

    Just install google analytics or stat counter on your site.

    Use the google keyword tools, any kw (exact searches) above 1000 monthly global searches should be good enough to bring traffic to your site. Next, check the kw using google insight, see whether the keyword has stable search for the past few months or years or not. Next, check the google competition by looking at the top 10 sites in google (your kw). Determine the level of competition, if you are confident to outrank them then start building your site around this keyword. Do on site SEO and off site SEO

    Thanks for all the replies. I have been using Google's Keyword tool, analytics etc in the past but now I am looking for the keywords that my competitors are getting traffic from. I know alexa shows some. Any other tools like alexa out there (free ones) that show which keywords are sending traffic to a specific site?
