Is there a wso or guide to building high quality high PR links the right way? I'm filled to the brim with knowledge of automation and spam methods. Now I would like to add some valuable link building strategies to my arsenal. Any tips or ideas where I can get this info?

Thanks for the tips. I'm looking for more of a complete how to guide. I fully understand what needs to be done but wanting to learn more about how to do it. Like how to find potential backlinks, how to approach the webmaster for different situations, email templates...

I used to read seo tips and new in search engine watch, search engine land. I have learned that one working seo link building technique now is guest blog posting, the other technique just like article submission still works however unique and fresh content is very important. Also social media now is really useful is getting referrals and targeted traffic. Link building with relevancy plus good content is what search engine like Google is looking for.

Are there any good guides or wso's that you know of that teach how to find potential sites to guest blog on and how to approach the site owners effectively? Also, when you say:
"the other technique just like article submission still works however unique and fresh content is very important"

What other technique are you talking about?

There is no such guide to find potential sites etc., You can find the right website from google. In link building all you need to do is popularize your website in all known sources. Try to add your website in those websites. Thats important. For ex, if you take social bookmarking websites, just adding your websites will definitely wont help in anyway. All you need to do is spend time on the website to make friends(genuine friends), share content, comment on their post etc., It will be time consuming..but the prize is big ;-)

The problem is that this is very difficult to do with local clients of say a dental office or plumbing office. It's not something easy to make popular. So what are the best options for these kinds of clients? There is a lot of info on what to do but not how to do it exactly...

If you want right way follow these points:

      1. Get the link from relevant site.
      2. Avoid the link firm site to get link
      3. check the link URL added is right or have error.
      4. site page should be relevant to keyword or theme of your site.

The type of links you build doesn't make it right or wrong.

There is only effective link building where there is anchor diversity, link diversity, IP diversity and few more I can't think of right now.

By "right way" I was referring to obtaining quality high pr links using a method that is not automated or spamming... The ones that you have to work for but bring you much better results. I'm finding it easy to build 1,000's of links and get in the top 10. But to compete with the #1 position for a high competition keyword it takes a different strategy.

About guest posting, that's where the power of social media platforms takes place. A good guest poster builds good relationships with other webmaster.

How? For example, you can follow them in twitter or re-tweet their tweets without expecting them to do the same thing in return. Always give positive insights to what they share or write in their blog. Help them spread the words about their websites.

For sure webmasters who know what to do in overall internet marketing particularly in SEO will always include social media in their arsenal.

So through that, you can build a good relationship with them until you have the guts to send a request to write a guest post to their blog or site with a link back to your website.

Don't be so rude to send a guest post request right away because you will be suspected for sure as a spammer. It takes quite a long time before you can get the benefit of building good relationship with other webmasters, but it's surely worth the effort.

One or few good quality and relevant links are good compare to hundreds or thousands of spammy links. Always remember that.
