The "Backlink Checker 2" add-on inside of Scrapebox...

Has anyone experimented with the "new" backlink checker inside of Scrapebox? Obviously the previous one, which used Yahoo Site Explorer, was amazing. It was as easy as plugging in a text file with a few thousand URLs and letting it automatically harvest all of their backlinks.
The new one obviously reports far less results. But I'm curious as to where it's getting these results from? (Alexa?) Digging around Google doesn't seem to really give a specific answer.
