      Well squidoo is about creating lenses. You can lenses of your website and can submit info there.

    Precisely, you don't submit articles to squidoo... You create lens.

    In addition to what the others have said, you should check out the SquidU Forums. There are a lot of experienced Squidoo Lensmasters on there who can give you more specific information on what it takes to be successful if you choose to go the Squidoo route.

    You might be having trouble if you're just trying to submit an article in the Introduction module and that's it, as Squidoo requires 5 modules to be completed prior to publishing.

    Note that Squidoo won't make public anything which doesn't fit their unknown criteria, which includes a certain length, certain types of content, less than a certain number of links etc etc they give you some hints about some of this, but not the full story. All you can do is keep adding more and more content, and removing affiliate links, and hope that eventually they will allow it to be listed, but if they didn't like a lens in its original form, they often refuse to ever list it, no matter how much content you put there, and how many links you remove.

    Also don't forget to write high quality content before posting it so Squidoo. Avoid auto generated spun content. And for me, I make my articles minimum of 500 words.

    In addition to the contributions above, I would like to add that you need to be aware of what Squidoo allows. They have a list of niches in which they do not allow articles. If you post an article in one of those niches your article may not get approved.

    To get more likes, you just simply create quality content. (simple right?) You can post your squidoo articles in social network sites or like other squidoo articles that are similar to your niche or keywords.
