Is it acceptable to use both adwords and adsense in a same website?

    That is called Adsense Arbitrage. It used to work well some years back, but personally I wouldn't recommend that any longer, unless your website has lots of solid, original content. Here's why:

    1. Adwords is really tricky these days. If Google determines that your sole purpose is to only advertise as a bridge to Adsense links, you're toast and Adwords can ban you pretty quickly.

    2. If you have a proper website with content, just ensure that Adsense is not your one and only form of monetizing your website. Google introduced 'smart pricing' a while ago, which reduces the value that you earn from Adsense clicks if Google determines that the traffic you brought in and the quality of your website is of 'lower' quality. Bear in mind this reduces the cost for Adwords advertisers who are advertising on the content network, which appear as Adsense ads on your website.

    The key here is still quality content and user experience that is favorable in Google's eyes.

      Says who? Not google. In fact, if you have been using adsense for
      any length of time, you get bombarded with free adwords coupons
      directly from google, telling you to use it for your adsense sites.

      Yes, you must follow the rules as stated above.

      I still say this, again and again. I wonder if anyone actually
      reads what google publishes. Over and over, I wonder
      less why people get banned. They don't read. They don't
      care to read. They have no intention of following anything
      google says. But someone can put a myth on a forum,
      and it's swallowed hook, line, and sinker.

    Yes, even if let's say you do substitute Adwords for another PPC engine, say Bing/Yahoo or other smaller 2nd tiers, you would still have to make sure you don't make it look to Google on the Adsense leg that your main intention is to profit arbitrage-style. This could still put your Adsense account at risk, so whatever your mode of traffic, paid or free, good content and user experience is still key for Google.

    It's violate adsense rules. This is very old technique in around 2007. However Google blocked this now.

    Yes, you might not do it. Your adwords account could be banned.

    I think, nowadays, the best way to make money from Adsense is only by doing SEO.

    Just make an adsense website that earned around $5-$20/ day, and multiple the number of the sites. It's easier to make $5/ day from 100 adsense websites than $500/day from a single adsense website.
