If you want to check/see backlinks use one of these services. They are all free.

http://www.majesticseo.com/
http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/
http://backlinkwatch.com/

You can check your unique back links and quality back links you are getting from in

Alexa.com

But it will show only 100 back links.

Another good site for backlinks checker is Add on in Scrape box.

And free tools are google webmaster tool.

backlinkwatch.com etc.
