Hi,

Trying to build the number of backlinks to my site. I see on Alexa that the number is slowly creeping up - is this the site that I need to be looking at to use as the "count" for the total?

I know backlinks is important, but to put a number on it then is using the Alexa site the way I can keep track of the number?

Thank you.

Alexa only shows the number of domains linking to you, not the total number of links. If you have 20 links from example . com, then Alexa only shows that example . com links to your site.

    Thank you for your response.

Taking this a step further then, is it possible to see who has used any of my unique content on their site? I mean sometimes I notice that other sites are talking about a blog post I've done but they've not linked to me and so the only way I've come across this is by copying and pasting a few paragraphs of my blog post into Google and seeing if someone has used my post. Hopefully my question makes sense....
