What are some effective article sites

I know the power articles to generate traffic and get in the search engines but I have a question for anyone that can answer. I would appreciate all your help and appreciate anyone reading this post. What are some effective article sites. I know Ezine articles is the best but does anyone know of any others?

I think Ezine is the clear leader - they have good PR and a high Alexa ranking.

Also good... ArticleCity, ArticleDashboard, ArticlesBase, GoArticles and SearchWarp; all .coms!

Ryan6 has posted all you need. I can get by on 3 of the five listed. I like Ezine Articles for the exposure, and I like GoArticles for the quick submission UI.

Depending on your niche that should do it. Unless you are really heavy into bum marketing.

GoArticles.com, Isnare.com, Amazines.com and article base are the most prominent ones besides EZ and these are high rank too and effective for traffic generation too.

amazines,ezinearticles,articledashboard,goarticles are the only ones i submit to anymore as they are the only ones i get traffic from.

The best way is to do some Google searches in your niche and see what directories pop up. And submit to those. Some directories dominate certain niches.

I've submitted to all of the site that Ryan6 mentions and I get by far the most traffic from ezinearticles. They are so much ahead that I don't really bother with the others anymore. My niche is gadgets, games consoles, etc so it may be different for you. Hope this helps.

I usually submit to a group of about 15 - 20 directories, starting with the top ones, then repeat when I get to the end. As I am after the backlinks I always ensure each article is indexed within a day or two once they are approved.

Ezine is the best, by a distance. Though, GoArticles is probably my next favourite because it does not take very long before the articles are published.
