Poor Yahoo Ranking

I have one US site which ranked well in Google dot com (US), but not ranked in Yahoo and Bing. I noticed that Yahoo and Bing gives more preference to on-page optimization. One of my site keyword is in inner page url but still it not ranked in atleast top100. What should I do to improve the ranking in Yahoo and Bing?
I check the ranking manually for all the search engine. For Yahoo US search, I just go to Yahoo dot com, is it correct method or is there any method like we are doing while google search for US from India (i.e. &gl=us added at the end of the url or we make the changes in search setting.

    submit your page which one you need to index on yahoo in yahoo directory and get the list of sites from yahoo and bing to get back links. check the status like the domain age, crawling date etc of those sites. It helps to get valid back links. your keyword position should be promoted once you got the valid back links.
