22 Clicks $0.00 CPC

Adsense is tough on me! Not sure what the problem is but so far today my CPC is 0 with 22 clicks. In the last 7 days it has ranged from .04-.22 is this normal for most of you? It gets pretty frustrating.

      I had a similar problem (could be the exact same problem) for months.

      My largest site (3,000 page views a day) would fluctuate between 0.00 and 0.50 CPC per day. I would get 20-40 clicks a day from that, but only make $1 or so at the end of the day.

      I finally figured out that my image/rich/flash ads were CONSTANTLY registering invalid clicks. I switched to text ads only and stopped getting clicks of 0.00

          22 clicks and you made $0 ? You might need to remove some ads which may bring up the value of a click... how many ads to you have per page?

              Mine is even more extreme. Until this past Friday I was getting about 30 clicks a day and making between $80- $100 a day. Suddenly it went to about 6-4 clicks and a cpc of zero. I am baffled as to what to do. Don't suppose it would help to ask adsense what the problem is.

                Hi Nunotmp,

                One of the most important elements required for good AdSense earnings is extremely targeted traffic. The results you are seeing are typical for websites that have issues with traffic sources. You didn't mention any details about your traffic sources, I would look there first.

                  Today about 75% of the traffic was organic from google. Over a hundred views from stumbleupon and a few twitter hits. I am now up to 36 clicks with $0.03 earnings.

                    Not all organic traffic that comes from Google will always be well targeted. Your traffic must be from extremely relevant keywords of high commercial intent. If some of that traffic comes from keywords that are not extremely well targeted then that is the problem. Also check the countries of the visitors, if your website is in english but most of your visitors speak Spanish, or some other language, then those will not earn you any money.

                      Thanks for the advice. This is so frustrating! I now have 47 clicks and $0.00 CPC. according to analytics 73.39% are en-us so not sure of the problem. I want to know the cause of such low cpc. I know they all can't be invalid clicks.

                        Dude, switch to text based ads for 3-4 days to test it out. I was literally getting 30+ clicks a day with MOST of them being invalid clicks.

                        I switched to text based, my revenue hasn't changed much, but at least I only get real clicks now, every click generates revenue.
