How long WMT updates?

How long Google webmaster tools take to update "links to you site" session?

My site's been hit by penguin and I already made some cleaning, but WMT still havent update the changes.
So how long does it take?

    Are you asking how long it takes for Google to update its WMT rankings? Reinclusion? What exactly?

    It updates quite often almost daily as Google crawls the web, you may need to wait up to 90 days for Google to crawl all the sites that had your backlink on, and then possibly a refresh of the index, it could take some time.

      I'm asking about "links to your site" session on webmaster tools
      It doesnt update regulary,
      I already made tons of inlink cleaning, by contacting webmasters asking them to remove my website link from their sites.
      When I acess their websites, I can see my site is gone,
      BUT in WMT still shows that my site is receiving links from the sites.

      Thats what I meant. Want to know how long does it take to WMT update "links to your site" option.

        Most tools tend to pick up links faster than they get rid of them. Some dead links will hang around for ages but that doesn't mean Google hasn't discounted them. Most effects of link building or removal happen between 2 to 14 days but could take as long as 90 days.

        My post above pertains to the "Links to Your Site" section.

        If the links you removed were living in the deep dark cesspits of the web that aren't crawled regularly, then removals will take a while.

        And as I said before, Google may have noted the removals already ..they just have updated the reports.

        So don't worry about it, once its removed ..you're good.

    In my experience, they don't update daily. Most times there's 2 or 3 days between updates where new appears or stale data disappears. The longest I've ever noticed was about 7 days.

    They report new links fairly quickly as well.

    It all happens real-time, it's just that the reports are delayed.

      Yeah i agree there are some delays, but is almost constant. In fact I see links appearing then disapearing for a few days then coming back a few days later. The same with indexed pages and search queries.

      GWT is quite accurate but I wouldn't trust the data 100%. Despite Google crawling the web a lightning speed there's alot of it, so your going to have to wait for some time and continue building the right links.
