Google confirmed there was a Google update. That called Google Panda 3.8 . Heads up: we’re pushing a new Panda data refresh that noticeably affects only ~1% of queries worldwide.

google has announced they pushed out a new refresh to the panda algorithm recently.

This update “noticeably affects only ~1% of queries worldwide,” said google on Twitter.

There were earlier rumors of an update over the weekend but google said the rollout started today and not over the weekend.

Damn, and I was just starting to enjoy the fact that the board wasn't being flooded with thread after thread about Google Panda / Penguin. Hopefully this doesn't hurt too many people. Otherwise I'm pretty sure every other thread will be about the same thing.

  Thanks! One of my sites actually recovered on the 25th, but it was probably something else entirely. Well, I kinda hope it was Panda that got it in the first place, would make recovery pretty easy... but I doubt it.

haha, another one? Geez, they're really going to town with these guys. I better start picking up the pace with my backlinking work up. I'm not worried though. This sort of thing always happens....nothing new.

Panda is actually a filter. Google occasionally runs it. I would not surprise if google send Giraffe,
Zebra or even Dinosaur updates every single day. As god created many animals they wouldnt run out of names.
