Does Google track IP when I leave backlink?

Hi everyone. I blog comment and occasionally post a link in various forums.

Can anyone say with certainty if Google knows the IP address of my blog comments & forum postings - AND if this affects SEO?

And just to note, I leave anywhere from 5-8 backlinks per week.

So does doing SEO work from the same IP affect SEO?

I'll greatly appreciate your answer.

So you want to know if google will hack into a website to see their logs to check if you used the same ip address or not?

    No, they won't do that.

But they could use analytics or adsense tracking if they wanted to... They record all of your know ip addresses in your Google account..

They don't. They could get some of that info, but it'd be a complete waste of their time and resources.

When you will build a link to another website, only they will have the right to see who made the link.

It makes sense that Google has the capability to see that an IP visited forums x, y & z, but with over 2 billion users, I'm sure that Google would not have the ability to do this with so many online users. Hypothetically, even if Google knew I was the one posting some backlinks, that is not wrong - as long as it isn't spam.

So thanks for reassuring me everyone.

No, they will not bother to do that. Your backlink quantity is low as well (5 to 8 per week) and so it will waste their resources to check your backlinking activity.

      Hi,

Well, as per my knowledge google tracks your Ip whenever you make backlinks to the blogs or forum. If you have the backlink with unique Ip . It helps to get the better results in seo.

    that's not a problem.
but if you put the links in the forums or blogs of same IP over and over then Google can ban your account. because Google will consider that all the sites are yours and you just want to get a rank. nothing else. So actually there is no problem.
    thanks

Yeah, they might. Cause Big G placed a cookie in your browser which had a level to know what are you doing, which site you've surf. For backlink, it might be yes.

      Lim, that's not correct.
Yes google uses cookie like several other sites. But that doesn't change
the fact that Google cannot spy on what you do.

Browser's security cannot allow other sites and applications to look
through other site's cookies except the cookies that are created by
      the same site or application.

The only way google can see what you do outside of the site google.com,
is through Chrome browser or clientside codes like G+1 or Analytics codes.
Like the Microsoft's Bing that can use the collected user data from Internet
      Explorer Browsers.
