For the google haters, where are the MS haters?

Since so many post in this part of the forum about
how google is just full of nonsense and does not
know what they are doing, I thought it was high
time MS, et. al. get the same treatment.

MS is about to dump their $6 billion acquisition
of aQuantive. They had bought this ad company
in hopes of competing with google. Sadly, MS
is a one great software company, but their online
endeavors are just a sham. Total sham.

This $6 billion+ dumping will most likely result in
MS actually reporting a loss. Yes friends. A loss
for the quarter.

Their handling of bing, yahoo, and MS internet
portals are tanking.

All the while google keeps making record profits.

So, all of the google haters should quit google
and try and revive MS. Forget google. Bing is just
waiting in the wings for your championship sites!

In fact, if bing was great and google was so lousy,
all of you would have tried to shmooze bing a long
time ago. Maybe the time is right.

You don't like penguin, panda, kangaroo, well, MS
could use your business! They have yet to ever make
one thin dime as profit online.

Once again, MS takes a $6 billion dollar company and
turns it into mush.

So, why not start ranting and railing about how MS has
no idea what they are doing? Why is it just google?

The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

    Sadly, many of the people hate Google because they can't seem to put a up 5 page site and point 1000 links to it with the same anchor text and get page 1 anymore.

    If they could, they would love Google!

      I guess one thing we she keep in mind is that MS Bing is the most successful search engine in the world, aside from Google that is.

        True. Just seems like such a small piece of the pie compared to Google.

        Baidu is most likely right behind Google & Youtube search. Especially when you consider Baidu is really only targeting China traffic, still that's +60% of China search traffic (massive traffic).

        Bing doesn't even try to get in the game, besides Yahoo, they'll probably screw that partnership up sooner or later. Bing/Yahoo have 7 years left in that deal.

        Even Alexa ranks Yandex (Russia search engine) higher than Bing traffic.

    one thing i like about adcenter/bing is a quality of traffic is better than google and click fraud is lower than google. in short the traffic from adcenter converts better than google. On all other counts, google and adwords are ahead of bing and adcenter.

        We joke about that (Bing tax write off), but that's pretty much what Hilton hotels did in the past.

        Hilton was in deep $hit years ago, so they hired out a guy (can't remember his name) to put all the failing hotels into a new business name & all the profitable hotels into the Hilton brand. This way Hilton was extremely profitable & could dump all their problems into the crappy spinoff business.

        Smart move for Hilton, apparently it's legal.

    There is only 1 reason why people don't use Bing & Yahoo and that is cause it's stuffed with so much crap / advertisments on the page, way too much distraction.

    People love Google cause it's such clean interface.

    But I guess Yahoo/Bing can't make the change cause they "depend" way to much on those advertisers at their homepage.

    Well, there is more G hate rather than MS simply because people are impacted when the G algorithm changes. Many incomes are cut in half, or even worse. Bing does not yet have such an impact, therefore IMers at least will be more neutral about MS than Google.

    I am disappointed that MS had to dump something they paid so much for. I would really like to see them competing with Google.
