Web 2.0 link wheels, doing it well?

Hi all,

I am building some 2.0 sites link wheel to rank my online sex shop products.

I choose for example some keyword like "buy dildo", and build a link wheel with 8-10 web 2.0 sites (wordpress, blogspot, hubpages, squidoo....), with unique content (I do write personally or make some own and reviewed translations from USA sites)

In each post of each site, I include one link to my money site, one link to other web 2.0 site of my wheel, and some other links to Wikipedia, Twitter, etc., like reference sites, so in each URL there´s just one link to my money site. I also give anchor text variety to not use always the same anchor, buy dildo, cheap dildos, and so on.

Of course, I don´t close the wheel to not leave a footprint. I publish each post with 2-3 days of difference from the previous one, to look natural.

Finally, I´m trying to give popularity to my 2.0 sites with social bookmarking, blog comment, RSS submissions, Twitter mentions...never directly to my money site but to those 2.0 sites. Looking to learn about SEnuke or similar software to automatize this.

I´m just starting this strategy so I can´t tell you about results, just wonder If Im doing it right or something here has no sense.

Just one more question, once I finish all this link wheel, If I want to make a second round, what would be better, make a new wheel from the beginning, or add a new post with new and unique content on my previous 2.0 sites of the wheel?

How often should I update the wheel? Once per month?

Thnks in advance for sharing your experience!

    Hey, Mike here

What I would call that is a cycle, I have read posts on here where they are running 2-3 cycles per week, outsourcing most of it, it would be very hard to do 2-3 cycles per week manually.

There is a lot more you can add to the process, doing SEO is much easier with tools (if done correctly). IMO this strategy is awesome (haven't personally tried it though) http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...y-keyword.html

This thread will give you some ideas, and it will keep you organized.

You can spun articles for making link wheel. I don't update those web2.0s but I build new web2.0 with another spun article to make another link wheel and make few links for new web 2.0s. If you keep adding links to those web2.0s then it'll be looked like private blog network. Search engines don't like private blog network.

Mike, that strategy is really good, but it´s not affordable in time or money by now, want to experience with this first and will grow up step by step our cycle or link wheel strategy.

gPlayer, the problem about spun articles is that there´s great software for english articles, but not for spanish written, so I would have to make it manually, rewrite them or make new articles.

More, with 2.0 free sites (blog.com for example), they would delete our blog/articles if there´s no activity in the blog in, lets say, 6 months, so I need to add some content anyway to don´t lose those blog links that I had feed also with backlinks!

I update them twice a week. Just a little suggestion. Avoid Blogger. It can ban your blog as you are working with adult things. I always avoid them.

When you say "update", you mean adding a new post on each blog with new links? Or adding new plain text content to the original post? Or making a new wheel from scratch?
