Indexed Backlinks

I'm regularily submitting backlinks.

My site has been active for over 4-5 years.

I only have ONE backlink and 2000 pages indexed.

What is the trick? Is my robots file not allowing backlinks or something? I thought this was only the crawling of my site no the backlinking sites?

    It shows you have over 2,000+ backlinks with Majestic SEO

    I'm no expert on SEO (Far from it) but you need better quality backlinks too with higher PR.

    Did you make any link for your site? You should interlinking those pages by inbound links.

    In my opinion your backlinks doesn't crawl by Google that's why your backlinks are not showing.

    The best way to explain this would be:
    how long do your backlinks stay on the home page?
    how long do your backlinks stay on a page of value?

    From where have you checked your backlinks..? If it is by link: operator then it will show you only few as Google hides the backlinks from your competitors. Check it in your Google Webmaster Tools and you will get the exact idea of your backlinks. And also get the backlinks from quality sites like forums and many others.
