Actually it depends on the activity of your site. I've had checks from Google on sites that received a lot of visitors, my husband has a site and google cuts him a check every other month.

I'm not talking about clicks to regular adsense ads. There is something coming up in my stats as clicks, not to my ads but to googleads and they pay nothing.

You've got to explain what you mean by googleads.

Google runs adssens, so it makes sense for them to
run ads for their own products, if that's what you mean.
And they do pay for a valid click.

If you are talking about something else, well, if I
have adsense and get 100 visits and no
clicks, can I assume google doesn't pay $#!t?

If I get 2 clicks and no money, can I then say,
        well, adsense doesn't pay $#!t?

googleads makes no sense. Google runs a plethora
        of advertising networks.

googleads, by definition, would be adsense generated
from any of their networks, including adwords users
who want to target certain sites.

But again, just because you get no money at the moment,
does not mean they don't pay. Some clicks are invalid for
a variety of reasons. You can't force people to click.

If you were disappointed in your results today, lower your standards tomorrow.

I am well aware of all that. I have 3 different size adsense ads on my sites and when get a click it lists which ad size it was on. But, lately, some of the clicks have not listed any of my regular ad sizes; it simply says googleads and unlike the other ads on my site that typically pay very well per click, these are always paid at 0-1 cents. I wondered if this is something new or something I have simply not had before. Obviously the clicks have to be going to one of my ads but why is it listed differently than normal and paid at practically nothing? Just thought someone here might have noticed the same thing and know why.

BTW, when I click on the exit link for this in my statcounter in WP admin. it says googleads.g.doubleclick.net and goes to what looks like one of my regular ad units.
