Google Page Rank Checker

Where can one find this? When I go to Google itself, I see pages that seem to have lots of stuff on them - everything but the actual link to download this item. Am I missing something?

You can use a SEO quake tool to see this. Just google it.

yes, use firefox plugin. enter pagerank and search for it. There are a few good one out there.

Thanks for all of the response

I settled in on SEO Quake. I see the links pointing to websites; however, on a video, I saw that there could be a penalty from Google(?) for running this so often. Well, Google would just kind of disable the IP for a little while before allowing you to run it again.

Someone also mentioned Google Webmaster Tools as well. Is there more of a preference for one or the other?

Can someone explain how these services operate, and how often their results get updated?

What is the data source for services that check page rank? Do they estimate it themselves or get it from some kind of API?

You can use search status tool to check PR and Alexa rank of any webpage. Along with PR you can check other properties of the website like Whois info, cached and indexed pages, backlinks and more.

You can use Google Pagerank Checker the results are fetched from google server in real time. It is quite fast and also gives prediction of next page rank and google page rank history.
